Charlie Palmer Steak IV

I had a steak with sides of broccolini and mushrooms. The meal was excellent. They have gf items marked on the menu and also offer gf fries. Why the low rating, you ask? Well for one, the service was atrocious. All touch points with staff were disappointing. The maitre’d didn’t even make eye contact with us and certainly no smile. She lead us into the middle of the restaurant and left us standing there while there was some mini dispute with a waiter. Our own waiter was pretty vacant with us and when we finally had our meal delivered it came with a different sauce to what I had ordered. I asked if there was a problem with the bernaise sauce (which is what I ordered) and he told me it had cream fraiche in it. Like WTF? He then said the only sauce he could guarantee was gf was the chimichuri. I later questioned this with our server who checked with the kitchen - the chef said all the sauces were gf.
