The location is fab, picturesque setting. Deck chairs in an orchard on a sunny day is lush. They have a couple of gluten free cakes - carrot cake was delicious! This place loses a star from me due to their inefficient and pretty annoying serving process. Long queues, moved very slowly. However, if you fancy a gluten free cake and a cuppa (or prosecco) after walking here along the river, this place is a haven.
Came here on a sunny Sunday and was lovely to sit outside on deckchairs in the orchard, although it was a struggle to find a table. You have to go up and order at the counter, as it was busy there was quite a long queue. They had a couple of gf cakes which were clearly labelled. All the cakes had separate plates, plate cover and tongs so no cross contamination. I had the cheesecake which was delicious. They also serve sandwiches, jacket potatoes, salads and a Sunday roast although none of this was labelled gluten free - if you wanted lunch might be worth asking the staff about gf.
