The main meal here is pork ribs served with a jacket potato. I'm quite a fan of the recent surge in 'smokehouses' which has left my standards quite high when it comes to ribs. This restaurant just cooks them in the oven, so they are not as succulent or tender as I like and it's also quite an effort to get the meat off the bone when they are cooked like this. Bones did have one novel feature which was a magnum of wine on the table, where you just help yourself to glasses during the meal and at the end they simply measure how much you've drunk, to work out the cost. Overall, this place is fine and also good value for money.
